UGC (University Grants Commission) wrote a letter to Vice-Chancellors of all universities in order to celebrate Surgical Strike Day on 29th September to mark the event along with the Line of Control in the year 2016. The letter also composes the desires which subject that students pledge their support for the armed forces in writing that day.
UGC (यूनिवर्सिटी ग्रांट कमीशन ) ने सभी यूनिवर्सिटीज को पत्र भेज के आदेश दिया है कि 29 सितंबर को ‘सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक दिवस’ के तौर पर मनाया जाए.28-29 सितंबर 2016 की रात को जब भारतीय सेना ने पाकिस्तान अधिकृत कश्मीर में घुसकर आतंकियों के ठिकानों को तहस-नहस किया था, उसकी याद में यह दिन मनाने का फैसला किया है|
